WIP Wednesday
It's that time of week again! You know the drill, share the latest piece of writing work you have and let's keep each other motivated!
Here's mine o u o /
*Vincent let out a huff of laughter. "How unfair," he said as he pulled the boy closer for warmth. He wrapped the blanket around them tighter and peered upwards. The meteor shower was ending, and the skies were starting to settle once more.
Vincent leaned against the limp body at his side. A sign of great change was on the horizon and he was fearful. *

I finally started working on my WIP again. I also plan on trying to finish it during NaNoWrimo.
The Master? My heart skipped a few beats. No. I kicked the bastard into a watery abyss. Sir Arsehole grinned.
“Whatever is the matter? Are you frightened?” The shadow man peered down his nose at me.
He pointed a finger downward and then moved it in a circle. The other shadow people rushed and encircled me.
They have you surrounded, Zero. What are you going to do? The voice asked.
I gritted my teeth. Don’t call me that.
The voice chuckled. And why not? You are Zero.
I killed him. It’s Af now, I replied.
Try as you might, the past can never be vanquished. It is only reincarnated. The voice replied.
Oooh, that last line was powerful ; u ; It's all looking good so far; good luck with NaNoWriMo!
Thanks! Hopefully I'll win NaNoWrimo this year.
This one is actually a requested fanfiction for a friend of mine. She wanted Frostiron that would go along with "Endgame" from Chess the Musical.
Tony and Loki circled around one another. An onlooker might have guessed that they were involved in some sort of dance -- everything was so calculated.
“Give up, Tony,” Loki said. “You’re up against a god.”
“Hasn’t stopped me before,” he said, aiming a blast at Loki’s feet.
He dodged and shot a blue bolt of magic over Tony’s head.
“You missed!”
“Did I?” Loki thought. Outwardly, he snarled and dodged again as Tony aimed another blast at his legs. Tony was only aiming for the legs and feet. He clearly didn’t want to hurt Loki any more than Loki wanted to hurt Tony.
Another pain shot through his chest. He gripped his staff tighter. Before he knew what was happening, he’d fired another blast -- this time directly at Tony’s chest.
“No!” he screamed as Tony fell out of the sky. He rushed towards the crumpled suit of armor.
“I...” He coughed. “I think you literally broke my heart.”
“You really wish for your last words to be a poorly made joke?” Loki said as he smoothed a bit of hair out of Tony’s eyes.
He smiled weakly before another fit of coughing shook him. “You can make up something better,” he said. He closed his eyes and shuddered. “You are the god of lies after all.”
“Tony? Tony!” he cried as his lover went limp in his arms. He felt like shaking him. Shaking him back to life. Instead, he raised Tony’s now cooling head to his chest. “I am the god of lies.”
Two questions. What does WIP stand for? (I really feel like I should know this 😳) And is there a word count guideline for what I post in the comments? I'm not sure you're looking for a 2200 word long chapter.
WIP stands for work in progress. Don't worry if you didn't know; we're all here to learn!
For WIP Wednesdays, I'd usually ask for the last two sentences/few paragraphs of your current piece. Nothing too lengthy.
For full on stories or larger chunks of writing, start up a new post using the community guidelines and let us see what you've come up with!
Ahh I knew it was somewhere in my brain! Okay, thanks :)
