Longtime NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper has weighed in on the tailback tandem, and his advice? Stay put.

I'm with Mel on this one, which is a really weird thing for me to say, as I'm usually opposed to his predictions and guidance. Chubb should stick around for a senior season and that goes even more for Michel, whose draft stock is lower than that of his counterpart.

I think they will have much better draft stock if they grind out great senior seasons. The market will be better for them and they'll have another shot at the trophy presented in Manhattan.

Agreed, I think they both need another year in the system and staying healthy to really demonstrate what they can pull off. If they have can have a good year, especially against a tough SEC slate, the draft stock rises considerably.

Plus, if Gurley can bounce back next season with the Rams and have a good year, they won't be wearing the system doubts around their necks come draft time in 2018.
