I actually really enjoyed this week's episode. In fact I'd definitely say it was the high point of the season so far. It helped that Willis and Campbell spent the entire hour on a submarine far away from everyone else, so I could safely ignore their scenes without missing anything. :P
In all seriousness though, it's amazing how much the writers give Leanne to do with Willis out of the picture. I really loved her scenes with Heather--and I don't typically even like Heather, but I'm really intrigued by their dynamic. I get the sense that Heather reminds Leanne of either herself as a young doctor, or maybe her daughter... either way, she seems to be able to get through to her in a way nobody else has managed to so far. I know she's not technically Leanne's resident but I hope they continue developing a mentor/mentee relationship.
I'm also loving the friendship between Malaya, Rollie, and Jesse, although I'm really sad about where that story's heading.
