Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, found a great vendor
I wanted to pass this along to all the fellow coffee lovers. I decided to try Ethiopia Yirgacheffe after hearing about it on a coffee documentary on PBS. I ordered it on Amazon from seller Smokin Beans. Link here. I ordered it late on the 13th, they roasted and shipped it on the 14th, and I recieved it on the 16th. This was the freshest coffee I've ever tasted.
I'm not usually a fan of medium or light roasts, but dang was this done right. I'm no coffee "taster" and don't have much terminology, but it had a really great smokey taste to it. I'd compare it to coffee made in a perculator over a campfire. Absolutely delicios. The price was very reasonable, I think it was $22.50 after shipping for 2 lbs. That's on par with whole bean coffee from a grocery store, and exponentially fresher and tastier. If you've been interesting in trying Yirgacheffe, I couldn't recommend a seller more.

My husband is a fan of Yirgacheffe We found some at a little roaster in Richmond, VA (Black Hand Coffee Company) recently and he is dee-lighted. I have passed this along to him.

Yirgacheffe is great. Even better is Yemeni coffee but since the war there it is almost impossible to get at all. I saw a CUP (one cup of drip coffee) from Yemen for $15 here in San Francisco. I did not buy it...
