Comixology Unlimited Reading
Comics by comiXology
comixology.com
Hello, Comixology provide a new service "Comixology Unlimited"! For $5.99 a month you can read online & offline thousands of comics, mangas and graphic novels. In the moment this service is only published for the U.S. customers, but I think the service come fast to the international customers.
What do you think about the this format for comics? So I love the "paper" comics but this is a incredible service and I think I would subscribe it.

I really like Comixology, their app is my favorite digital reader I've seen. That said, I'm a bit confused about Comixology Unlimited, and they seem to be too. The actual library of available titles is varied, but lacking in depth. It's got the first volume or two of a ton of series, but it doesn't seem to have any full series. This is good for creators, because it encourages people catching up and then jumping on the next volume.
On the other hand, based off of Twitter, tons of creators weren't contacted about their books being on unlimited before they just showed up there on Tuesday morning. That's nuts! It's especially nuts when you consider these are mostly creator owned titles on there, and you would think they'd be contacted about their books being free like that.
So it's kind of weird to me that this doesn't completely serve consumers or creators and seems to be a half measure to test out whether or not a streaming-like comics service would work for comics.
Agree. I joined the first month, but doubt I'll keep after the free trial. I'd much rather pay a higher price and get full runs of things.
