Mid-September 2016 (Long Read) - LUKE CAGE: HERO FOR HIRE by Various
It can be difficult to discuss a tiny chunk of much larger work that has few if any good stopping points. O Human Star is another good example of this, but I don't necessarily want to nix any comic story that isn't shorter and self-contained. So I thought I'd try out a third, experimental category: "Long Read."
This takes place during the middle of each month, and after a month has passed we vote whether to continue reading or try out the first volume of a different series.
Luke Cage: Hero For Hire #1-16 by Various is available in the following formats:
Luke Cage: Hero For Hire #1-16 (Digital) - with subscription (Marvel Unlimited)
Luke Cage: Hero For Hire Vol. 1 (Digital) - $16.99 (Comixology)
Luke Cage: Hero For Hire Vol. 1 (Hardcover) - $75.00 (Amazon)

I'll be honest, I couldn't even finish this run.
The only good thing I can say about this comic is that it made me even more impressed with Netflix's Luke Cage, in how they were able to salvage characters I would have thought unsalvageable. My mouth was agape during the entire Black Mariah issue.
I'm just going to forget I ever read these (or tried to read them), so the Netflix series will be the only Luke Cage I think about.
