sometimes this is neccesary. the important thing is that YOU, not the shrink, are the one to make that call
I've never quite truly enjoyed therapy. There was a time it made me feel better, though. The thing is, the first time I tried seeing a psychologist, I just ''ran away'' after a few sessions.
Few years later, I was not feeling good for different reasons, so I asked to see another one. It was nice at the beginning, but my psychologist did ALL the talking, and I didn't felt like telling him what was actually happening in my life.
I stop seeing him, went to a psychiatrist, started taking sertraline (i guess in USA it's called Zoloft) and everything is great since then.
