NaNo Update Day 5

Well. Looks like I forgot to post on here yesterday. I did, write however and with today's count of 2327, I'm at 13,374 words toward my 50,000.

Yes, so far Tested is turning into a novel rather than a novelette or even a novella. In re-writes I may condense it down, keep it moving fast like the other three books.

Here's a snippet from today's work. Reminder, this is raw writing.

“Before the toxic rain we would have run your blood through electron microscopes, checked your DNA, all sorts of things. Now, though,” he sighed again. “I’m reduced to using the equipment we pulled out of a museum in Canton. I didn’t have a good centrifuge so I’m reduced to using this specific gravity separator to get your blood serum.” He pointed at a stand holding a glass shaped very narrow at the bottom and sweeping up in a curve to wide at the top. The shape was nice to look at as far as Kyra was concerned.

Have a great Saturday!
