Cats of Ulthar Short story published (my first!)

So this past week, the anthology "Kill Those Damn Cats - Cats of Ulthar Lovecraftian Anthology" was published (I don't really care for the title).
Anywho, I submitted a short story to this book, and was accepted. It's my first short story to be published! (I consider myself an essayist and do academic writing). So it is kinda neat!
My story is about a cat named Nix who is afraid to fly to the moon. So while everyone else in Ulthar is asleep and the cats are on the moon frolicking around, he has the town to himself. So I wrote a more whimsy tale. Is it a great story? Nah - but it was fun to write. I basically took as much from Dreamlands tales from Lovecraft, but also the work of Gary Myers, took as much as I could and reshaped into this story.
If yall are curious, it's on amazon, POD and e-copies (guess I should do a modicum of effort to pimp the book):

I'll probably take another stab at short fiction later, but for now, back to focusing on my neo-peplum book!

Congratulations on your story being published and by all means promote away! :)
I appreciate this! Thanks!
