What did you achieve today? What did you do that made you say "Wow, today was awesome"?
Nice, smart kids
I'm visiting a college as an honors candidate. I knew every student there must meet certain academic requirements. But I'm delighted at how nice they are too. Not a gathering of intensely nerdish types, but people who love music and teaching and soccer, who can bond quickly over shared nerves and curiosity and start bantering together. It's not a competitive group fighting for their slots but a bunch who could all become friends. Also, just a random student who had eaten dinner at the same table as me and my father when I visited a couple months ago recognized and greeted us. I was nervous about this weekend but it's been a very good day with wonderful people.

Yay, I'm glad it was a positive experience!
That's WONDERFUL @AnonResponsibilitiesTaylah!! Finding a University is so much more than Program rankings, Placement statistics, or even Social standings believe it or not 😃. Now all of those are very important - my parents drilled into me the "you can go anywhere and people will recognize where your degree is From" theory (which is Very True I have to say after living/working across the US).
But what I found was truly Priceless in the University Experience was this: Finding THAT Group of people/students/professors that you can not Only relate to but Know that they have SO much to Teach you, if only you have enough time to soak up the information 🤓. That group becomes your "University Family" of a sort. And trust me, you run out of time ... unless you become a Life-long student you run out of time 😏.
