Musings of Dan McComas, Founder and CEO here at Imzy!
Fridays
I've become accustomed to running myself ragged here at imzy. The pattern tends to be working about 50 hours from Monday to Thursday and then on Friday bringing a few things together and then passing out. Today I left work at 5, got home and fell asleep for an hour and a half. I'll take most of tomorrow off and then be back at it on Sunday.
This may sound grueling but it is actually really fulfilling. We are getting a lot done. This week we pushed some big things out and made a number of other changes which haven't even been discussed yet. I think we'll get to that on Tuesday. Right now I'm really excited about the new iOS build from Nate. It's getting really smooth and really starting to feel engaging.
Have a good weekend everyone!

I'm working similarly crazy hours -- but for other people. Supporting other people's projects. I would sooo much rather be putting all of that time into my own projects. So I envy what you're doing. And it seems that you're not taking it for granted that all this "grueling work" is really about living the dream.
Hashtag thankyouverymuch for all that you do, ser Zoorko!
I'm watching Guy Fieri and talking a lot of shit. But the food looks pretty tasty :)
Every time I watch Food Network I go... Hmmm I could eat.. Haha.
"Hmmm, I could eat" should be their slogan.
That pretty much is Guy Fieri's slogan.
He will pretty much shovel any pile of carbs and fat into his pie hole.
he's like a fat jesus, eating all our sins
Lol now there's an image I can't get out of my head. :)
@Dan we appreciate all your hard work! Be sure to take out time for yourself whenever you can. Now go to bed hahaha.
Look at you, representing /kindness! I'm so proud of you!

Yay Nate! With Warriors season over he be cranking!!
The life of a startup is seemingly always demanding, but I would imagine taking a risk to create a successful business out of it most be one of the most rewarding feelings you could ever have, especially if you had no idea if it was even worth pursing during the most stressful times. Stay healthy and stay positive Dan!
