How many homes do you have?
It took me a really long time to have more than one home. By home, I mean a place in the world that you can go to and feel at home. It's great to have more than one because you can reliably go somewhere, get away a bit, but still be comfortable.
Mine are:

- Alameda, CA
- New Orleans
I just happen to be going to New Orleans tomorrow (anyone there want to grab a drink?).

:) I can skate (poorly), but I never learned to play. I too love it as a spectator.
For me it's
These are basically all the cities I've lived in since entering adulthood. I went to college in Manhattan, had my first full time job in Seattle, and now go to grad school in Berkeley. I no longer have permanent residences in the first two, obviously, but I'd feel comfortable there and would be able to find my way around.
