Random Life Update #1
- Lessons started today and I'm already tired. This class will kick my ass. I don't like the teacher, I don't like how the whole thing is organized and the schedule is awful. On a bright side, I've seen a few friends (including the Pilot!) and that put me in quite a good mood.
- Today I've partecipated in a flash fic round robin! It felt so good to write again! It's pretty shitty but there's still good shit somewhere under the block, I just need to dig it out...
- Real Life got in the way and I fell back with the fandom challenge. Bleh. I knew it was going to happen but hey, it's my blog, it doesn't run away right? I might take a little time to reorganize all my bookmarks before continuing- so I'll have a few fic ready for these posts!
- I've finally finished One Punch Man, and it was great. It's been a while since I've seen something with such a genial comedy timing.

Sorry to hear your first class wasn't so great. :( But at least you've got friends in there to share the misery! lolol. I've never done a round robin before; how does that work? Do multiple writers work on a fic at the same time? Sounds like fun!!
Aw it was bad but I'm mostly a whiny ass, I'll be fine :) Luckily it's my only class this semester so I have lots of free time to get over it lmao.
Yeah that's pretty much how a regular round robin works! This kind of round robin is special though, because it's timed and in real time! Everyone starts writing at the same time for a given amount of time, usually between 15-30 minutes (it's decided before the session begins); when time's up, you gotta pass your bit of story to someone else, while another writer gives you theirs; rinse and repeat until the mod announces the final round. At that point you finish up your story with a conclusion, and everyone shares their work.
It's a bit stressful because of the time limits, but it's also really fun! It's usually original stories because the community that organizes it is multifandom so it can be difficult to find a common ground for everyone. We've done this a few times and it always produces interesting results!
