Roommate fucked something up on his computer. He asked for my help. I'm trying to help him. He's having a panic attack as I'm trying to fix his computer. He's yelling at me. I'm trying to give him things he can do other than yell at me. I understand he's on a deadline. I understand that he's not really mad at me he's upset at the overall situation. But I can't handle the yelling. I can only try and fix the computer and if I start crying and panicking in response it's not going to make anything better. But even telling him to go and take a shower while I wait for this scan to run and neither of us can do anything caused him yell at me.

Maybe you could try to involve him in the process. Explain what you think is broken and how you will try to fix it. Could hold him distracted and maybe less helpless since he knows whats going on.
he knows what's going on. he can't fix it because of a physical disability and because he was dealing with the client and stressing and anytime I invited him to do anything he bit my head off. Still running another scan. sleep is for the weak
Sorry to hear that. :/ I hope everything worked out.
How are things today? Did you have any luck with the computer?
Yes. It all got worked out by 4 a.m. yesterday. Then I had to go to work. He was late on the deadline, but the client understood computer issues. Most people do.
