Collection of Resources

Feel free to comment with any other resources that you know! I'll keep adding to this as I find new info (or am motivated to research a bit), but the topic of non-normative gendered-things-related body mods is so broad that there are probably loads of things that I haven't even heard of.

Words and Concepts

Angenital:

Not wanting to have any genitals OR any gendered intimate figuration OR any intimate organs that are associated with sexuality – yes, these are different definitions, and there may well be more out there.

Enbysex:

Sex is a construct, but many still feel that that one of the two social ideas of "sex" resonates with what their body feels like, should look like or should be called. Those for whom the constructs of male and female can't (fully) describe these feelings may call themselves enbysex, or one of the more specific terms, like asex, sex flux or demifemale/demimale.

Neutrois:

While usually referring to a neutral gender, some people use it to mean the desire for a body that has no gendered characteristics.

Xenogenital:

"An identity in which you feel less dysphoric by conceptualizing your genitalia as alien (eg as tentacles)." (quote from epochryphal, who coined this term)
