Needle Organization
This is a little random but does anyone have any ideas on needle organization? I have all types from leatherworking to embroidery and everything in between. I bought a needle tin online but for the price its a little disappointing especally since I'd need one for each needle type. The few I've seen at store in town are still five bucks or more and are ugly.
I have a tackle box for most organization but the needles are still too loose and get everywhere. So has anyone come up with something I haven't thought of? When I try to google ideas i keep just getting knitting needle ideas instead.
Thanks!

My grandmother had ones that were Altoids tins. They had cut a weak magnet to fit inside with a little extra space. The magnet was then wrapped in fabric and glued into the tin. The magnet kept the needles from moving around, and the fabric was to look pretty.
That's a good idea. I have a friend that love altoids too. Maybe I can steal her tins/give her mints. Thanks!
What about making a couple needle books? Then you could stash those in a tin or notions box to keep everything organized but without the needles floating around with anything else. Also makes it quick to grab whatever you need specifically. Set one up for embroidery work, one for leather, and so on...
If you have a fabric stash you could make some simple ones. Or there's loads of patterns kicking around.
Here's some patterns and ideas to get you started if you opt for this direction. craftsy pincushions and needle books
Oh see! This is what I was hoping for. I've never seen a needle book before. Thank you! I'll have to look into then more. Nothing like this came up when I tried googling general terms
Oh perfect! Happy to help!
