Second Day of Class

Today was the second day of my Fall semester classes. I only had one class today, and I was worried about what it would be like. Though it turns out that Philosophy of Law is going to be focusing on the idea of Restorative Justice instead of Punitive Justice. So, instead of punishing people for commintting crimes they are made to face the victims of their crimes and apologize; the hope being that there can be reconciliation between the stakeholders (be it the victim and offender, or offender and society) that betters all parties instead of sending one off to a prison where there might not be any chance of fixing the community.

I'm interested to see where this goes.
