Fail Invasion Tomorrow Night
Looks like people like this idea!
So let's plan our first invasion party! Where do you guys want to go?
I figure we'll do this maybe once a week. That lets everyone explore the communities we're invading even after the new day post, and keeps it exciting and new. Hey, maybe you'll really like them!
For right now, I'm thinking only panfandom or general comms ( /ghoststories or /paranormal would be fun for Halloween!). It's got to be things that almost everyone can participate in right now.
(Comms are taken at random from the Imzy community list, picked because they're either active or easy to get into and do. Feel free to suggest other comms in the comments.)

I feel a little bad saying this, but I voted for worldbuilding because someone needs to save it from, "Which is more compatible with floorpunk: shoepunk or sockpunk?"
I muted them within a day of their appearance, because no one needs that much punk. /worldbuilding is a nice, but very quiet community.
(Are they seriously still at it /o\?)
I didn't mute because I don't hate them or anything, and I thought they might eventually have a point. But no. Just increasingly obscure punk intersections.
They did at least tone down the posting volume, I think they brought most of it to a different community, but some of it's still there. I don't know, I kinda get the vibe that they might be young so I don't want to be a dick or anything. I did recently read a book that I think might have been solarpunk or plantpunk or one of those (Zahrah the Windseeker) and discussion of how the worldbuilding was used there and comparing it to similar books could be an interesting conversation. Everything was very organic, computers were grown from seeds, buildings were giant bioengineered plants, it was pretty cool.
But...no.

I took a break from it for two weeks and yikes!
This is so exciting!
This looks like fun :)
There's a post I've been meaning to write for one of these...
Thanks for the shoutout for /ghoststories!
Might be fun to hit /canon_recs to coincide with the Yuletide signups~
