The Nonnie Watering Hole. Watch out for dinosaurs.
Picture Post! The Basics of Imzy: Part 1
Your upper right hand corner explained!
Want to see what profiles you're using where, or see all your communities at once?
Not sure what's up with all of this stuff?
Oh, hey, you made a community and it confuses you?
This is what you see when you click on the community dashboard
Setting is the important one. This is what you see when you open settings:
Inside settings, there is yet again another settings tab. Again, it's the important one for 90% of what you'll want to do. This is everything under the settings-->settings tab:
If what you want isn't under there, it's probably under appearance. Just so you guys could see what they look like, I've added some custom comment reminders and custom post reminders.
It's a very quick intro, but I think it covers most of what people have been asking about! There's lots more in the FAQ written by nonnies. You can find that here.

I am so annoyed that I have to do Dashboard > Settings > Settings! Like, pretty much everything else on the Dashboard is useless most of the time! Grr.
I just want to throw out that some adblockers can mess with the "chat with us" function. The button did nothing until I deactivated mine.
I can't remember the name of the chat app they use, but it's not Imzy's creation. And it sucks big time on iOS. Also, even though the Imzy team board on chat says 1-3 people may have been active in the last 15 minutes, it may take a loooooong time to get a chat response.
I need more than fifteen people in my neighbourhood, damn it! I need to network!
I swear to god, this site hides all the most useful bits in the furthest corner from where you might think to find them. It took me ten minutes to find out where to add comms to my neighbourhood. (Not from the community itself, evidently.) Thank you for making this guide!
Very useful! Thank you
really useful, thank you so much for making this!
Awesome!
Thanks! Great explanation
This is so useful! Thank you 🐱
Wow, it looks like you've done most of the poking around and figuring out, so now I don't have to. bookmarks
Not that it's not fun to poke around when you're new to a site, but sometimes you just want to be able to post something.
Thanks!
