Ditto. This seems surprisingly workable, and I'm very pleased that the tipping thing can be turned off, but...IDK. Fandom isn't intended as a default use here, and that shows.
I'm currently searching for a way to turn it green.
I also kind of hate that the button links are all pictures instead of words. If I have to hover the mouse to figure out what something is for, why not just tell me what it's for?
Oh! It looks like there's a feature that tells you when other people are responding to the same comment as you. I like that!
The grey and white is the only major sticking point I've seen so far. This might be hard to look at for long periods of time. I assume that changing it might be a later feature and/or if gets enough of a base, someone will write an extension for changing it.
Ooh, that's a cool feature! It seems that Imzy has a lot of interesting ideas. And fandom wasn't the intended default use for LJ or Tumblr, either. I'm sure Imzy can be made to work, even if there are points of contention.
I just submitted feedback about it, because I just can't read gray on white for very long. I'd encourage other people to do the same--they do seem to be listening.
I'm excited about Fandom Social Network nonny's future offerings, tbh.

I just don't like the look of the interface, either. Too much grey and white.

They have a developer's corner that looks like they're open the site up to people who can do...code stuff? Computer things.

I just want something with comments. If Tumblr had comments, then it would be acceptable to me.
Does the anon-nick name change with each post?
It does.
