Any favorite authors where when they release a book you just have to get it?

Gaiman, Rothfuss, Abercrombie, Peter V Brett..Anthony Ryan, Pratchett, Scott Lynch..What first got me into fantasy was Tolkien, Salvatore and Weis and Hickman. There's really been a renaissance of fantasy authors since 2000 it seems. My backlog of books is huge. I read other genres as well but i really try to stay on top of fantasy as much as i can

Unfortunately I can't afford to buy books as often as I used to. I probably have more of my own books, but that's just because I need to order printer copies every time I design a new paperback.

Neil Gaiman. It doesn't matter if it's a comic, a collection, or a novel, I just automatically buy things when I see his name. Even some things I already own. I already own all the Sandman comics digitally, but this weekend at a flea market I found a copy of my favorite issue (#50, Ramadan) and had to get it. I also got The View From The Cheap Seats this weekend.

I remember the day after Terry Pratchett died, Gaiman was already scheduled to speak at a museum in San Francisco (I think), with Michael Chabon, another of my favorite writers. They spent the time talking about Sir Terry and their memories of him, and the whole thing was just beautiful,

I always get a little sad again when I remember that Terry Pratchett is gone again. There wouldn't happen to be a video of that conversation would there?
