At first, only a few things are known about the celestial object that astronomers dub Rama. It is huge, weighing more than ten trillion tons. And it is hurtling through the solar system at inconceivable speed. Then a space probe confirms the unthinkable: Rama is no natural object.

I just bought 7 books, I have material for the rest of the month.

Confession. I have never actually listened to audio books. What are your experiences with it?
I like them, mostly because I can listen at work and when I'm trying to fall asleep. Of course, some are better than others, it adds another layer. A good narrator can elevate a mediocre book, a bad narrator can ruin an okay one. Some books I've only ever listened to, never read the words.
I have listened to Dickens but can't stand to read him. ;-)
I use audiobooks for entertainment when I am doing tedious stuff like weeding my flowerbeds or driving long distances. And I find some books require too much attention to work well for me in audio. Novels are usually good, though.
Oooh listening to audio books while folding laundry! You might be onto something.
Audible can be a real danger. Your first taste is free ;-)
There are a couple of services that libraries use, too. I live at the border of 2 counties and they don't use the same one. Overdrive is my preferred service, but OneClickdigital is available to me, too. Which one you can use really depends on your library system. And libraries don't have as many choices as Audible, either. But, they can get you started.
I only got 5. But I'm set, too.
