Even if retro-inspired fashion is not usually your thing, there's no way this is not a beautiful and flattering dress for so many body types, especially that amazing colour (perfect for the holiday season). Just want to bring to you my perspective: wearing a painted piece make me feel way more beautiful. I am a curvy girl, most of the time I didn't show off my skin. But wearing a complex painted motif make me feel, yes, people ... I swear only those expensive shops selling retro things are the only ones with anything close to fitting me but even then I still have to get it altered because no shop seems to acknowledge that there are short fat women and women who aren't hourglass sha... I personally like Torrid (although some of their stuff gets almost uncomfortably edgy for my likes occasionally), and Lane Bryant sells some real nice stuff. What about you guys? Just got it altered. it frustrates me that I have to spend $99 on a $40 dress to get the top half nipped in a bit at the sides and in the bust, everything is too big up top because I have big hips so I have to get my clothes to accomodate that.
