Just a bit lost... Why cards are staying in my stack after I've read them?
I was just awaiting that cards disappear from my stack after I've read them... In that way, when I appreciate a card, I could make that card spread more with kinda swipe up... Or if I dislike the card, I could skip it down in kinda garbage for it spread less in the community...

When you mention "cards" on the site, do you mean posts?
Yes... Sorry, still a newbie here... ๐ณ
We don't have any automatic post hiding, regardless of read status, as they are on-going conversations to which you may wish to return later.
It might be very easy to get back to comments, with alert as presently existing. An archives stack of read and commented cards might supply the facility for getting back to cards previously read and commented...
Is there a particular website or app you're thinking of that handles content this way?
Plag & Bellow (ex Riple). Bellow is now quite inactive...
Ahhh okay. Thanks for the feedback!

As here you have the facility of liking, there is a kind of upvote too... Spread less might mean different effects. It could be:
There're infinite possibilities to implement this kind of voting in an expert algorithm. With artificial intelligence algorithms, they may learn how everyone votes. And if you vote differently than me, you would be able to receive posts you like and I dislike... There's no opposition between what you say and want, and what I try to explain. It's just to be implemented in an appropriate algorithm.

But even if not a big fan, you use it anywhere here, and on Internet. Without even knowing it's AI... ๐

But here, you don't. So not always so bad...

How do you think this app is working alone? Without any AI?
We don't have any spread functionality. This isn't Plag.
The way I understand it, if you did dislike most of the posts from a given community, rather than simply hope it goes away (because of algorithmic filtering) you should just leave that comm. Imzy isn't here to moderate our content, the community-based architecture and leaders system do it for them.
No, not all the community, but maybe some users...
Heya, just an in-advance heads up, we have been working on and do plan to implement a "most activity" type feed, which is algorithm based. It will be optional and toggleable, but it is totally a useful feature that can help a lot with making things feel more active.
I'm actually currently using an in-house build of the "activity" feed sort, because we're testing it internally right now.
It's totally cool if it isn't something you dig, you won't have to use it, but it is an option we want to give to folks, because it can be hella helpful for figuring out where the activity is, and what content other folks are finding enjoyable :)
cc @Garsbriel (sorry I keep CCing you on stuff, just wanna make sure you see my responses)

Greenie. There's no problem you copy my comment for showing what you respond to. It's fine. And it shows better what's the subject of you remark. I like that. Cause it's an another point of my different remarks when here.
I like you're pointing at what's my point for helping users for going to subjects in debates. That's my point with the kinda voting system I try to propose. It's not a kinda competition only. It helps in pointing subjects in debates. It helps to sort subjects no more active too, for reactivating them and letting them asleep. ๐
The competition comes in only if users are benefiting of a better spread with kinda distinction among the community. But if users stay all in sane equal status, it changes nothing and there's no competition between them.
Backeefeeder AI isn't always alone as long as development team stays there for controlling what happens. It's only a help for users interactions for their best benefits.
Here development team and community users are still interactive. So, there's no real danger
Ah okay cool, I don't think of our algorithm as being AI (I agree about learning), but it sorta sounded like it might have been considered such for the purposes of this discussion, so I figured would mention that was a direction our feed was going :)
Totally agree. It's why we're very hesitant with AI based solutions to content moderation.
Honestly it sounds like you want a completely different kind of site than imzy is. That's not bad but this may or may not be the site for you if that's the case.
Just newbie here and learning how it works. And I may suggest what I think. If nothing have real interest, I'll go elsewhere...
Oh yeah definitely, it's fair to suggest things you'd be interested in, but the various things I saw you talking about throughout the post and comments just seemed like you were looking for something different than the site is really set up to provide atm
Not really my point...
Just that way how posts are shown here, let me a bit lost, between what I previously read, what's new incoming in my stack and which cards are on debates...
Fully new ergonomy that I donโt catch so easily...
So, if I may suggest something which could be helpful... ๐
Being able to dismiss things you've seen already is a not an unusually requested feature, and something we wouldn't mind trying to support at some point. It is sorta technically difficult for us though, because it involves much more customized feeds.
cc @Garsbriel, thank you for this feedback!
No problem for that, Greenie.
I'm discovering the app. And the user's community seems to be sweat for the positive points.
