Untitled?
I noticed that I cannot create an untitled post. So I tried using "..." as a title, but no. It's gotta have at least one letter or number? Why? I really would like the option.

They should just randomly generate a number in that instance, like a tweet
The direct URL to the post is based on the title. No title, no URL.
Curious, what would you ever use an untitled post for?
Personally, I would use for my personal blog or whenever I have some random thoughts that I just can't think of a title for.
I guess I could understand that, however as a community leader would not like to see untitled posts in my community.
So for you this may seem legitimate, and members of your personal community may not mind, but as for me I lean toward the way it is now IMO.
As a long-time leader and participant of many online support and discussion communities, I want actual conversation in my communities, not mini-articles that have titles.
But how does not having a title help start these conversations vs having a title?
Edit: Maybe the default community chat that is being looked into can help this verse having a bunch of blank posts to sort through?
Are you a member of any Facebook groups? Are you familiar with the way they work and look?
I like using untitled posts for quotes or other random thoughts on my personal blog as well. Sometimes the "punch" of a message gets diluted if there's a title leading into it.
Anyway, I found a work-around to the URL issue:
a) title the post with a temporary title when you first write it
b) hit "save" (or "post") and the post will be generated with a URL based on your temp title
c) go back and edit the post; change title to "..." (or whatever you want); hit "save"
Then your post will show a title that doesn't have letters/numbers, but the URL will stay as the "temporary" title you originally used. This process takes a bit longer, but for me it's worth it for the title-less aesthetic on some posts.
