That guy's said a lot of shitty things. It's a pity, I use to actually enjoy his comics. Now I can't seperate them from how horrible the author is.
Yeah I feel the same way. I used to love the comics, and even have the whole animated series on DVD, but I just can't get past some of the really awful stuff the guy has said.
Seems like he's been creating one-dimensional, stereotyped comics for so long that he's started to see the world in one-dimensional and stereotyped terms... or maybe it was the other way around.
Actually, that sums up this privileged pro-apathy position perfectly: caring about other people takes energy. Though considering that a lot of these people think "least resistance" means causes like stopping gun control initiatives that might lower preventable deaths in the USA...actually, wait, that is least resistance. And that's a goddamn travesty.
Also, "Please sir, I want some more" is only unreasonable to spoiled privileged people.
