The whole name change debate was something I thought a lot about even before I began to seriously consider feminism. It'd be cool to see aesthetic reasons cited more often with regard to whether one chooses to keep their own name or not. Not that "feminism" or "professional identity" aren't good reasons, but I'm one who can actually aesthetic value in certain words. For example, I really like the word "harmony" - and the meaning of the word of just a bonus.

Well, there are some people who would still take the last name, because that's what good girls do. Or they'd just not date him in the first place.
haha, I know. It's just a funny name. I once knew a couple who were getting married, and they were religious and didn't believe in sex before marriage. But the guy's last name was Virgin. I thought it was so funny that the girl would both become and un-become a virgin in the same day in two different ways, haha.
