I guarantee this means teaching girls to adjust themselves to fit the acceptable parameters of mainstream beauty. Using the word "enhancement" can only be interpreted as tacit approval of that arbitrary and one-size-fits-all standard. This is probably not the best way to encourage "thinking critically."
Let's not teach anyone they need to "trick" the world into thinking they're pretty. And don't get me started on table settings and dinner music.
