When I Said All Trump Supporters Are White Supremacists, I Meant It - The Establishment
A few days ago I caused a stir in my own tiny corner of the internet world by saying what I thought everybody already knew: If you support Trump, you are a White Supremacist.

I don't understand why people on our side are still harping on Trump. It's not like anyone is on the fence here. Who are you trying to convince?
Because that's what a lot of people have said, and so we end up with a zillion articles about how bad Clinton's "gaffe" was, while ignoring this huge situation going on with Trump.

Because his campaign is encouraging neo-nazis, and them gaining power is obviously super bad and dangerous?
But who are you trying to convince to not vote for trump? You're never going to convince a trump voter to vote for Clinton.
If that was the case, polls would be static, and they're not.
Who are the interviewing? It's pretty static among the 18-40 year old age group, which happens to be the same age group that actually consumes these media sources.
If you're looking to change the mind of Grandma, go to Fox News and talk about this. Go to CNN. That's who's watching.
Fat lot of good Fox News did to college protesters.
Why are you so upset that we're talking about something that affects us? Its really normal to talk about a fucked up thing amongst yourselves as well as trying to affect change elsewhere.
We talk about white supremacy around here all the time, and the fact that the Trump campaign is normalizing that sort of shit in a much less dogwhistle sort of way than normal is a big deal.
But it's been covered. I'm sick of hearing about the bastard. Every time I see the word "Trump" I become more depressed. In a way, "Trump" is a trigger for me and I'm sick of it.
I can think of three reasons:
People like hearing what they already believe
Some people haven't heard this particular argument before
As Taz points out, the article might feel to the author (or the publisher, or what have you) as a counter-weight to the endless stream of personal attacks on Clinton.
Who cares though?
For a list of people that care: See above.
Who is on the fence about trump? Honestly?
Couldn't tell you. That wasn't anything I claimed.
