Legends of Localization: Funky Fantasy IV: A Machine-Translated Video Game Experiment
"Funky Fantasy IV" is a 100% machine-translated version of Final Fantasy IV for the Japanese Super Famicom. The project is still unfinished, with little bits and pieces of untranslated menu text still strewn about, but all of the main and important text has been run through Google Translate.

I haven't laughed this hard in ages *wheezing*

This reminds me of the Astray translations -- I put a chapter through google to see if years later, it'd be any better and it actually came out more difficult to parse.
Being fair(?), back when we were chunking through a zillion machine translations of Astray and 00P, I was usually either using Babelfish or going with Babelfish and just cross-checking with say Google Translate. And now Babelfish is long gone, woe.
There's some real~ gems in these though X3 I hope Mato puts some examples in when he does the book on IV ~
