For people to complain about meds that don't work, stop working, or have unbearable side effects.
Worse med ever?
What med is the worst med ever in your opinion? We are all grown ups and know that one person's "worst med" is another person's life saver, but I wonder if we'll see some overlap.
For me it was Cymbalta - no relief of symptoms even after two months of taking it, I gained fifty pounds in those two months, and it gave me a whole rash of other side effects.

It was Butrans for me--it didn't do anything for the pain, but I was so dizzy and sick I couldn't drive (which, where I live, means I basically couldn't leave the house).
Cymbalta also made me really sick at first until I got my doctor to cut my dose in half and let me slowly build back up. But even once I got to the full dose, it didn't do anything for my symptoms. Lyrica was the same except I didn't get as sick in the beginning because I knew to start slowly; it did make me gain a significant amount of weight, though.
Abilify made me feel as though I have no soul. Although I had a reaction to Clonazepam that's prevented them from prescribing me anything in the benzodiazepine class ever since. Apparently I tried to kill myself. Don't really remember that. But both of those were all side effects and no intended effects.
