Craft all the things!
This is the sort of giant mess of notes I make when trying to knit anything more complex than a scarf.

Do you make weird notes or are you one of those strange people who manages to remember everything in your head? Do you just go straight from a pattern? Or do you just yolo it?

I print my patterns then mark them up like maaaaaad.
I tend to put down my knitting constantly, or lose track, so I tend to want stuff to be more specific than what the pattern might say.
I haven't tried to knit anything complicated, but my sewing notes are EVERYWHERE. Possibly because I insist on making my own patterns instead of making do with patterns I could find a lot. (Next up: a binder dress. IT IS HAPPENING. So many scrap papers.)
you're knitting a binder dress?
Oh no, sewing one. My knitting has been limited to scarves so far, and I wouldn't know how to make it bind. :D
ah okay. I was like... really confused about how that would work but was gonna be hella impressed, haha. :)
