Rebels Finale
Did everyone have a chance to watch Rebels last night? Not sure if it is airing on different days across the globe, so don't read past my initial post because I am sure there will be spoilers.
I haven't had a chance to read many thoughts on the episode, but I just know that there are some very cool things to analyze. The fights across the temple were all pretty excellent. So what did everyone think?

Holy snokes, it was so good.
It sure was, just like your recap on Big Shiny Robot. It was the first article I went to read, great job. I love the LotR comparisons and you definitely mentioned that on the podcast the other week. Nice work!

"Whatever the answer, I feel like the clue is in the owl creature. That was the same creature that ended the last episode, a portent of the ominous tone. What is it trying to tell us?"
It's interesting that the owl creature shares the same color scheme as the Daughter from Clone Wars, who brought Ahsoka back to life at the end of the Mortis arc.
"In my experience, there is no such thing as coincidence," but I'm still hazy as to what this is meant to indicate.
Is Force is bearing witness to these events through the owl? Has Ahsoka has been brought back to life yet again, making her even more of a Gandalf? Does the owl's flight symbolize the Daughter's rebirth into the Force? Or is it something else entirely?
Thanks for the pictures to go along with the comment. It's been a long time since I've watched the Mortis trilogy. I never realized that. So much to think about in this episode.
So the ending was left ambiguous, do we think asokha made it?
There's a part of me that wants to think that she's still alive, but if Ahsoka has to go by Episode IV, I feel that this was the way to do it.
until i hear a thump or see her motionless i say the apprentice lives!
Agreed, if we don't see her, or Maul, run through then they are still alive.
So why did Yoda send them there? Was it to see the distruction of the Jedi that chose to fight the temple and lost, or do you think he knew it would be a huge test for Ezara?
