Talk about engineered food: Soylent and its many spinoffs, lab-grown meat, untraditional nutrition of all kinds!
Tudo a startup fufo from New Brunswick
Hate cooking? N.B. entrepreneurs create futuristic food replacement
A New Brunswick startup is embracing a future where people actually want to live without food. UNB graduates Mostafa Shaker, David Brown and Marc Gauvin have created Tudo, a futuristic food replacement they call a "balanced meal for our unbalanced lives."
It's early days for Tudo, a startup company in New Brunswick, Canada. Currently a "very small operation", the initial runs of the product are "being made in a kitchen in Fredericton as the creators seek commercial space for larger-scale manufacturing."
The Tudo website emphasizes the absence of lots of things,
Tudo is vegan, dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free and nut-free
but stresses that it has a "mild, fruity flavor" in contrast to other products. Nutrition nerds can read the detailed label here.
