Breakfast Plan for Losing Weight For Real Now
Okay.. that reads like a spam blog post headline, but I'll share what I'm doing for breakfasts. To make it a bit more automatic when I eat food, I'm premaking the setup, which allows me to just grab it and eat it. No measuring the day of, cals are very controlled, and it's less tempting to get another serving.
Step 1: Buy a plastic container(s) for how many days in advance you want breakfast to be made. I'm going with a little over a week, maybe two.
Pre-measure the cereal into the container. In this case, I'm using Kashi, but I also buy a couple other cereals to keep some variety.
Since I want to add vitamins to my diet, I use dip cups and put the vits in them. You can get these at most stores. They're usually meant for putting ranch and sauce in em, costs about 3$ for 100 of them? In my case, it's a chewable daily multivitamin, fish oil, Vitamin C, and Vitamin D.
Finally, I bought a bunch of Daisy 9oz cups. This is close enough to the 8oz of milk I want to reliably be in there. Instant measure of your milk intake and then you can use it to take the vitamins or any medicine that you need.
Close the lid on it. It turned out the disposable spoons I got weren't small enough to fit in this. Some will, some won't. If it's too big, just buy some scotch tape and tape your utensils to the container.
The cup might get bent slightly, but it'll be okay. Now you have pre-made breakfasts, with a hell of a lot less sodium/cost than the ones stores sell. The whole thing (cup, minicup, food, vits) works out to less than 1$ a day. And if you want, you can get shelf stable single serve milks and throw it in there instead of the cup, and it's entirely self containedd dry storage packs.
