The TV show Game of Thrones and the book series A Song of Ice and Fire
Where do you think Arya's plotline is going?
So far I have been really liking season 6, and how a lot of storylines seem to come together. Most notably in the North, where a lot of different characters are finally meeting up: Sansa/Jon/Bolton/Brienne/Wildlings, even Rickon (RIP shaggy) are meeting up and interacting. Other storylines are still isolated, but there is a potential for later collision. For example the Iron Islands, it seems likely that Asha/Yara will fill the role of Victarion and sail towards Mereen.
However, one storyline seems very isolated to me, and I have no idea where it can possibly go, and that is Arya's storyline. She has been spending the last 13 episodes being in training with the Faceless Men, but what is she training towards? The only answer seems to be that she is going to finish her kill list, but considering that the people on her list are all very hated, with lots of people willing to kill them, it would not feel like a satisfying story to me. Why would Arya suddenly drop into KL to kill Ser UnGregor when there are so many other people in KL that would want to kill him?
Any thoughts on this?

This is where I think her plotline is going. Arya and the Waif are going to have some personal conflict. It flared up last episode when Arya beat her with the sticks. I think Arya is going to discover something awful about the Faceless Men that makes her want to escape. All the promos has the dead characters faces in the Hall of Faces, I'm wondering if that's what happens. She discovers the faces of her family down there, realizes the scope or plan of the Faceless Men, and runs from them. Or they send her on a mission to kill someone she cares about, to see if she really no one or still Arya Stark. My tinfoil on it is that it'll be Jon, especially if the world finds out about R+L=J. There's few things Braavos likes less than the blood of the dragon.
I like your thinking here.
Arya did not manage to get rid of Needle.
To me that suggests that the Faceless Men will release her after her training just like the Three Eyed Raven will release Bran after his training.
Sansa knowing Arya is alive means she will eventually try to retrieve her, too.
Arya's skills will be useful in the coming battle to either take the North, take the Iron Throne and/or take out the White Walkers.
I agree with your points about SerUngregor.
Especially since they seem to be foreshadowing that the Hound will be back.
I'm hoping Cersei's trial by combat will be Mountain vs Hound.
Agreed that the Iron Islands plot will sail toward Meereen. The show is being so much more efficient with ?Meereen. Thank goodness.
Poor shaggydog. RIP.
