Gamergate is mad because a school district is spending a tiny fraction of its budget to "increase the number of males of color who are succeeding academically and socially"

Milwaukee's Public Schools (MPS) projects spending about 0.07% of their 2017 budget (see image below) on a program that would:

support the “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative by collaborating with branches of government, local businesses and community organizations to increase the number of males of color who are succeeding academically and socially. Efforts include ensuring that culturally responsive teaching practices are in place at all schools, enhancing the district vision for student participation in a wide range of after-school activities and supporting trauma-informed care.

The line item is called "Black Lives Matter" but none of the money is going to that organization, something that gaters couldn't be bothered to even read:

Who's actually getting the money of a Twitter hashtag?

The money is being spent on the students in the district. Read the article.

It used to be about police violence which made sense but the movement seemed to be a directionless clusterfuck of yelling with no plan. Now I've seen a few things that make me think it's changed to "black lives matter more than other lives", which sounds like a very American response to discrimination.

"Directionless clusterfuck of yelling" sounds more like Gamergate. Black Lives Matter is in fact a movement that has guiding principles: http://blacklivesmatter.com/guiding-principles/

This is fantastic news.

How are they planning to get black gang-members to stop shooting each other?

Gotta love those Stormfront talking points!

Schools here suck. If I had kids I would not put them in MPS just because I'd want them to grow up with a good opinion of black people.

[BLM is] a retarded movement founded by bored black feminists, in an attempt to turn the problem of black men being killed by police into a crybox for Black Women.

What does that even mean?

All that and more, brought to you courtesy of Gamergate!
