Gaming! So many games, not enough posts!
How do you keep a game interesting?
Usually, most people keep playing a game due to the style, concept or even the genre, but what makes a game a +100 hours or even more? Even to the point they might spent extra money in it

I'm with @DrGore. I like the "new game feeling", which is why I start a lot of games but rarely finish them. If a game changes up along the way so I'm getting something new then that resets my interest.
Also, I like to see meaningful, measurable progress. If all I'm going is gaining levels or performing the same activities over and over for the same rewards at different orders of magnitude, I zone out quickly. But if I have milestones that I can point to as very specific goals, I'll keep at it.
I think an important thing here is difference in kind. A difference in kind is when a games feel changes. This can be a large shift, like the difference between cutscenes, travelling, and fighting. Or a more subtle one, like shooting from behind cover VS. running and gunning with a shotgun. These subtle shifts keep the player interested and the experience feeling fresh. Linear games have to craft this more carefully while an open world or sandbox can leave more of it to the player.
See Extra credits differences in kind video for some good examples. https://youtu.be/TlBR1z-ue-I
I make it interesting by finding other people to play with
Like in Minecraft I use texture pack
I make interesting by adding Add-on
