Gaming! So many games, not enough posts!
New PS4: Gaming Recommendations?
My wife and I picked up a PS4 recently and we wanted to know what you good people think are great games to add to our library.
Our current games: Diablo 3 Mirror's Edge Assassin's Creed Unity Cal of Duty Black Ops 3 Arkham Knight Final Fantasy XV
We are looking for games with great single player campaigns, good storytelling, and if possible co-op. Not too interested in multiplayer online, though co-op online is definitely something we like (I play with my bro who lives in another country). Also reduced price, back catalog, hidden gem suggestions are very welcome.

I second pretty much everything said by TheLizardQueen. I've not played Rise of the Tomb Raider, but the previous Tomb Raider remake is also good. I'd add Beyond Two Souls to that list, and potentially Far Cry 4 as well (though that one can get a little repetitive).
I can vouch for tomb raider rising
Persona 5 will be coming out in April. As a major stan for all things Shin Megami Tensei, would highly recommend it.
Otherwise, Watch_Dogs 2 was a fantastic play. (Shameless plug of my own review: http://www.amalanetwork.com/2016/11/20/the-game-you-didnt-know-you-wanted-watch_dogs-2/)
Also, Life is Strange is a very very wonderful game. Sooooo much emotion.
I've also heard a lot of good things about the new Hitman, but haven't played it myself.
I am ridiculously excited for P5.
I've heard it may see a return of the Philemon/nyarlathotep machinations, which excites me soooooo much. Would love to see Philemon get punched again for letting humans be test subjects for his ideals, fitting with the game's theme of breaking chains and freedom.
Yay!
Skyrim remastered.
Also check out the Skylanders games, I am serious. Hilarious adventures in a steampunk universe, with local co op.
For story: The Last Of Us (Remastered). Uncharted 4. The Witcher 3. Shadows of Mordor.
Fella also really likes Doom.
We're playing Diablo III couch co-op. We also play Divinity Original Sin together but we have that one on X-Box One. We have also played a lot of Borderlands (we have The Handsome Collection) for a while now. He's a bigger gamer than I am these days.
We just picked up Rise of the Tomb Raider too (again on X-Box One) but we haven't played it yet so to be determined!
Unrelated to the topic, but I thought Shadow of Mordor's story was super average.
Still loved the game though
Eh I liked it. Mostly I just liked killing orcs though.
Thanks guys for all your recommendations! We are heading out to the video game store, and all of your thoughts have pointed us in the right direction. Really appreciate it :)
Witcher 3 with all dlc is $25 with ps+ till the 3rd and titanfall 2 and battlefield 1 combo pack for $75. $240+ for $100
Take a look at Fallout 4, Doom and GTA5.
Hell divers is also an awesome co-op game, it is the dark souls of twin stick shooters, and up to 4 player local co-op!
My wife and I love Diablo III. Great couch co-op game! :)
Oh man, Great single player campaigns with good storytelling... The Last Of Us Remastered. Its my favorite game that I have ever played, best story telling I have come across. Just keep the tissues by you, it gets pretty sad at some points. You should also play Uncharted 4, its also amazing.
