From the sounds of it, it might be best to hit it up in a few month when the price goes down.
I personally haven't played it yet, and I never followed the hype. It looked like a really great concept but might be lacking in execution. As someone that's bought some Early Access games, I'm very cautious about things like this. Still, once it goes on sale, I'll probably give it a shot.
oh wow - just as I'm about to buy a copy and try it

From what I've heard, they're going to keep updating the game/adding features. I think I'm going to see what those look like before buying it.
That feels a bit like the Pokemon Go route, which I think is fine, but not for $60
Yeah, I'm not picking it up at that price either. Then again, I always seem to buy games way after release.
Biggest problem for me was that it's a very stream-friendly game... which means I have no need to buy it.
Listening to the stream of patter from a streamer as they come across new and exotic flora, fauna, and artifacts... what more could I need?
I've been playing and I'm ready to move on. I'm finding it too repetitious.
YIKES
I've played it and I hate it.
What didn't you like?
There needs to be a tutorial. How am I supposed to know what to do?
