I mean obviously it's up to you, but I think it's totally worth it to do yourself. I mean yeah, very intimidating to do at first first since you bought a bunch of likely expensive components that you really don't want to accidentallytally damage, but it'll go smoothly if you follow a guide and take your time, after you do it once it becomes very easy to do upgrades and the like.
And I have to agree, build it yourself. It might be a little scary the first time, but chances are even if you totally get something wrong, you can replace the wrong thing for less than difference of having someone else build it for you.
And you'll probably be able to build a higher end system for about a third of the retail cost. You can get everything wrong two times and still break even.
Lots of places have guides of what to buy if you want the best gaming rig at such and such budget.
I built by first machines 14 years ago and I will never do it any other way.
Whenever I wanted to play games on PC I only had a laptop to play it on which was really bad at running games but I still played games on it and have a lot of good memories. A few months ago I finally got a desktop computer so I can actually play games well on PC but I still play games on Xbox One as well.
One day, I will finish that game. 200 hours, 3 houses, completed 2 expansions, still have not done the main quest. I think i am supposed to meet someone who stole a thing.
Nice! I built my own rig for about 1400 CAD back in March and don't regret it. I'm actually very patiently waiting for a GTX 1070 to come in as well.
well, i am not going to build it myself, but i know a guy who will build it for me for a decent price
