Dan's post about space in '50s pop culture reminded me of one of my favorite super-niche books: Another Science Fiction, by Megan Prelinger. It's all about the advertising around the Space Race, and it's both a fascinating slice of culture and a really awesome collection of a style and era of visual design that I absolutely love.
