When the Australian government reduced drug costs for indigenous people with or at risk for chronic conditions, they became substantially less likely to need hospitalization to treat those health problems. PROVIDENCE, R.I.

    If you've read the article prior to now you've seen that it contains the following statement.

    "Other studies have found that hospitalization for chronic conditions can cost less than subsidizing drug treatment."

    I contacted the author and the statement is incorrect and it will be corrected.
