The Belgians That Caesar Met

A map of the Belgae, pre-Roman conquest, according to Julius Caesar’s writings. This large confederation of tribes living in northern Gaul gave their name first to a Roman province, then to the modern country.

Have you read the Commentarii by Julius Caesar? Apparently it's used in Latin introductory courses as it is concisely written. I've only read it in translated variants, but I would definitely recommend it if you want to know more about the Gallic Campaign!
