Hi I'm new
Hello everybody! I'm a big lover of history and my favourite time period is anicent Egypt. At the moment I am studying Greeks and Romans so if anyone wants to talk about that then I'll be happy to reply! :)

Do you have any favorite books? I love the ancient Egypt/Greek/Roman cultures. There's just SO MUCH about them that's fascinating. I feel like most books I see though are either textbooks that are really dense and more of a commitment than I'm looking for, light and shallow books that are aimed at kids and don't provide any real info beyond the obvious basics, or fiction of very dubious historical accuracy.
To be honest my favourite books are mostly fiction. To get any information on ancient time periods I usually just watch documentaries. I'm in college and we only look at certain sources from writers of the past which are very heavy reading. I do wish there were a lot of 'easy read' type books about anything but then again maybe I'm not looking hard enough xD
Ah, bummer. Are any of the documentaries you've watched on Netflix or Amazon Prime?
They may be, I'm not sure. What period or culture are you interested in?
Umm, all of them? Haha. In general I'm just fascinated by ancient cultures, but that's pretty broad, haha.
This is one I watched in my history class. It's a bit cringy and a few bits and bobs are wrong or not 100% correct but I liked it.

Ooh, cool, thanks!
