Do you live with a cat? Maybe more than one cat?

We like to think of cats as our friends, our companions, even our pets. They, however, do not think of us, like, at all. We know this now, thanks to the study done at the University of Tokyo.

According to T.S. Elliot, who obviously was an expert on all things regarding the psychology and inner thinking of cats,

When a Cat adopts you there is nothing to be done about it except to put up with it and wait until the wind changes.

In my experience, this is true. One time a wounded cat followed me home and lived with us for two years before disappearing. He came "home" two weeks later with a note attached to his collar from his actual owner thanking us for caring for him. Wtf, right?

We called him Chester. I don't know what his real owner called him. It doesn't matter anyway.

‘No,’ said the cat. ‘Now, you people have names. That’s because you don’t know who you are. We know who we are, so we don’t need names.’

Neil Gaiman, Coraline

Regardless, we love them. Just about everyone loves them, right?

Getting to my point, out of curiosity, do you have a cat? I really just want to see pictures of cats. Please post pics in the comments and then be sure to join us over in /caturday and /cats! I'll go first.
