For all your "I don't like how narrow this site is!" needs.
imzy.com
Crossposting here because /themes has only 11 members. It really needs more exposure!
But anyway, a common complaint is that content on Imzy is too narrow, so I decided to fix that.

Oh! I didn't realize there was a community for themes and skins. I'll have to check it out.
It's really small so far but hopefully that will change!
I love it. My old eyes love it. Thank you.
10/10 would recommend.
You're only saying that because the screenshot is from your account :P
ssssh
LOVE it. Also joined /themes right now :D
I'm another one that didn't realise there was a comm for themes so as someone who's big on customization, thank you!
Could be much wider for me ;)
I did set the max width to 90%, but if that's not enough you should be able to edit the script to make it 100%!
I tried it out, and it turns out if your window is wider than 1024, Imzy caps the widths of the content columns to specific amounts of pixels, and the css rules in your userstyle didn't override those rules due to a lack of specificity, so on the first non-comment line, I changed
.community,todiv.page-default article.community, and I've added the following rule:I dunno if that covers everything, but it seems to work fine for me!
It does? That's really weird because my screen is 1600x900 and that did not happen to me at all.
Do you mind if I incorporate that into the script to make sure others don't have the same problem?
Sure, go ahead. I need to mention that I don't have Stylish and instead installed it as a Greasemonkey user script, though, if that might make a difference.
Oh, and I just noticed the notification list is still narrow, so it'll need more changes if other people have the same issue as me.
D:
I'm really sorry! I've learned a lot about CSS in the past couple weeks, but I confess I have no idea what class I'd need to include to fix the notifications. I'm going off of Inspect Element in Firefox and it doesn't bring up anything other than .page-notifications.
It's fixed for me with
div.page-notifications section.page-notifications-content(that's in addition to the.page-notificationsrule).Thank you very much!
this is neat, thank you!
I didn't know there was a community for themes, thank you for pointing it out! And thanks for the them, I love it.
