on Chrome, for me at least, dragging an image from my computer onto the browser just makes the browser open the image (like on its own page). except i guess for websites that have coded it a certain way for a drop and drop to work. like, i can drag the image onto the imgur upload dialog (which says to do so) but not into regular text fields on imzy. so this isn't a viable option for everyone as is.
Heya, do you mean sorta like I did over here? If you do it as a text post, you can drag multiple images into your post.
This also works for comments.

Hmm are you running any browser extensions or blockers?
I'm able to do it okay on chrome:
