**Some Tips/Tricks/Opinions**
I would like to share some of my tips on Imzy, and how best to use it in my opinion:
- Take time to Read the About, FAQ, Community Policy and TOS - Imzy has tired to put a lot of time into helping users help themselves.
- Don't just create a community to create one. Look around, make some post in other communities. Then if you feel you really want to create a community. Create one with a purpose, and reason. Leading communities correctly takes time, energy, and passion. If you don't have passion you won't spend the time, nor energy in it that is needed for it to be successful. Ask @Elise if you want a good example of what kind of time and energy it takes, and I'm sure she will back me on the need for passion as she has a ton of it! :)
- Post to /imzy with ideas, suggestions, feedback, and for help; or use the Chat feature to talk to the staff directly. Again the Imzy Staff is the best! They will help you as much as they can, but also remember they have a task list three miles long. If it takes time to address your request, question, or concern its not because they are sitting around watching movies in the office and having a pizza party. That's only on Fridays... so be patient as we are still in Beta. :)
- Learn all that Imzy offers already. Things like the plugins (Giphy), the Markdown language, and general navigation of the site. Play around with it, and even think of ways you might do something to make it better. Then take a brief moment to share it all of us at /imzy. Maybe your idea is on the list, or maybe its a solution for an issue that was being worked on and we would have not gotten there without your suggestion. Your opinions and ideas matter here!
- Learn who the Imzy staff is... :) I say this for three reasons. 1. Cause they are awesome and worth knowing. 2. Cause they are very active all around Imzy, and are here to help. 3. Cause users like myself try to help as well, and you shouldn't take users comments as official. Know when another user is trying to help vs. someone on the staff as it could save a little frustration. :) (AKA - I'm not always right, just most of the time.)
- Don't settle for workarounds to get something done without at least trying to find a solution, and posting about it. Again folks. Still in beta, and you might have an idea that solves not only your issues, but others as well. Never hurts to ask!
- Finally don't just compare Imzy to other sites. Maybe do this as examples when telling people not in Imzy yet, but for yourself. Take a look at all the sites available today. Think about things you like most about each one, and what you would change or do to make them better. Maybe even how you might combine them to make the perfect site. Then look at Imzy, and see if it has all those things you like most. If not suggest them, and see if there is a way to get them or add them to a list for the future. I believe most may see what I see, and that the best of all worlds is here on Imzy. Some however will prefer other sites to meet their needs. Honestly that's OK! Imzy is not going to be for everything or everyone, and may not be best for your needs. However, helpfully you can still find something on Imzy that brings you back time and time again. Maybe for the people, staff, conversations, or maybe you just like the Imzysaurus! Hopefully Imzy will have at least 1 community you feel at home in, and if not maybe you will find a little passion towards creating one :).
This is a piece of another longer post about my Imzy experience. See Full post here -My Imzy Experience

Adding to your second point, I would encourage people to explore all the communities here. There are some cool ones! You can search for something or click "discover communities"
100% Agreed! Lots of great communities already built and growing to be apart of!
Excellent post and I took it to heart, Saicred. Thank you for taking the time to post.
Anytime, glad you enjoyed it.
