User-defined filtering categories
Not sure if someone already suggested this, so appologies if this is a repeat request. Also, not sure if this is an existing feature that I failed to find after exporing imzy for a few hours as a new user.
User-defined filtering categories: It would be nice if imzy allowed each user to set up their own user-defined filtering categories for organizing all the communities they follow such that the user can assign each of those communities to one or more of their user-defined categories. That would allow them to use their user-defined categories for filtering the content they see on their feed. For instance, I might want to have a special set of categories I create for myself that are called "art communities," "gaming," "technology news," "memes & gifs," "my friends' personal communities," and "world news." This would allow me to filter my feed to only show me the latest in certain categories that I have defined for myself. Sites such as LiveJournal and Dreamwidth have this feature and I have found it very useful for keeping up to date with lots of different subscriptions.
The problem I have with sites like tumblr and twitter is that high frequency bloggers & tweeters tend to overwhelm my feed. Once that happens, any content from blogs/users who only post once a day or just a couple times per week ends up completely lost in a sea of other stuff.
Even thoguh I can click through individual communities in my imzy sidebar right now, once I follow more than a dozen communities this becomes a hassle especially when I don't appear to have any control over the order in which those communties are listed on my sidebar.

Great! Looking forward to it!
Good idea, I've subscribed to many communities and the feed can be a bit overloaded
